Job Descriptions

• Responsible for managing new and renewal applications for Halal certification with JAIS, including communication and coordination with JAIS on all related matters and issues.
• Monitor and verify the Halal certification validity of all raw material suppliers.
• Prepare documentation and reports for Halal Committee meetings.
• Maintain and organize Halal documentation and ensure all files are up-to-date and systematically filed.
• Ensure continuous Halal-related training is provided to relevant staff. Conduct internal Halal Awareness training sessions.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination for JAIS audits.
• Ensure all ingredients used are Halal certified with valid certificates and complete supporting documentation at all times.
• Liaise with relevant authorities regarding Halal registration and licensing matters.
