Half Day Group Accountant

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced
Group Accountant with insurance bookkeeping experience
to support the responsible run-off of an insurance portfolio. This role is structured as a
half-day position
.

You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the financial reporting, compliance, and accounting activities across an organisation or group of entities. The role ensures accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance in financial records, supports management reporting and decision-making, and acts as a key link between operational finance, auditors, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Run-Off Financial Management

• Maintain and update cash flow forecasts to ensure solvency and liquidity compliance
• Prepare monthly management accounts and Board reporting packs
• Monitor capital adequacy in line with AFSL requirements
