Hardware Design Engineer/ Avionics Design Engineer

Summary

Design and develop components such as circuit boards and processors for computers and other devices. They work closely with software engineers to conduct tests on prototypes, and oversee the manufacturing process of a variety of hardware components.

Primary Duties:

• Hardware design, requirements management, verification and validation, and documentation.
• Prepare test plan and procedure for hardware items.

• Execute hardware tests and prepare test reports.
• Use of simulation tools for modelling design and troubleshooting of complex electronic circuits.
• Extensive experience with subsystems and circuit components-RAM, Flash, FPGA, MOSFETs, Voltage and current sensing, switch-mode power supplies bus structures and AC/DC converter, transient protection.
• Microprocessor selection and integration into hardware.
• Experience with Electromagnetic compatible hardware design.
• Technical reports preparation.
