Harness Design Engineer (AIT)

Orbex are looking for experienced Harness Design Engineer to join AIT Team with significant skills in design, development, integration and validation of electrical wiring and interconnect systems for launch vehicles.

You will play a crucial role in supporting Assembly, Integration, and Testing activities for harness design and integration, be responsible for following standards for a safe and reliable system ensuring compliance to required regulations and manufacturing benchmarks.

The Position

Key responsibilities of the role

+ Design and create detailed wiring design with 2D schematics and 3D routing.

+ Ensure compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620/ECSS-Q-ST standards to maintain high-quality standards in harnessing and avionics integration.

+ Define and select the different connectors, cables, shields, grounding with protections required for the integration of harnesses.
