The **Hazardous Waste Technician** will be responsible for proper and adequate management and operation of installation HW facilities in accordance with 40 CFR (Parts 260-266, 268, 270, 273, and 279), State of Florida HW Regulations, Pollution Prevention Act, related DoD and AF directives (including AFMAN 32-7002), and the installation Hazardous Waste Management Plan.

**Responsibilities**

+ Management/accomplishments of waste pickup and the 90-day Hazardous Waste Accumulation Point (HWAP)/Hazardous Waste Storage Facility (HWSF).
+ Provides administration of the HW module in the EESOH-MIS database, general HW operations, and Industrial Recycling processes.
+ Assists with waste sampling and properly completes Chain of Custody documents.
+ Maintains compliance with all AF policies and goals on HW reduction.
