HCM Sr. Functional Analyst - Core

**Job Description**
General Motors is seeking a Sr. Workday Functional Analyst with strong expertise in Core HCM and Workday Business Processes (BPs) to support and enhance our Workday environment. This role will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Recruiting, Compensation, and IT teams to configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Workday processes while ensuring efficient and scalable HR operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM and Business Processes in the functional areas of Staffing, Onboarding, Jobs & Positions, Contact Information and Personal Information.to deliver projects, changes/enhancement requests
+ Manage BP routing, approvals, condition rules, notifications, validations, documents, questionnaires, business process security policies, etc.
+ Support Workday production issues serving as a Tier escalation contact
+ Review automatically available items as part of the WD R1/R2 release for impact and support regression testing
