Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Menu Development & Planning
- Conduct R&D for kopitiam-style menu items
- Plan seasonal and promotional menus based on customer feedback and market trends
- Coordinate with management on menu planning and operations
2. Kitchen Operations
- Develop, implement, and improve kitchen SOPs
- Oversee kitchen production and workflow
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations (JAKIM/HACCP/ISO if applicable)
3. Team Leadership
- Lead and manage daily kitchen operations
- Conduct regular staff briefings and performance reviews.
- Manage kitchen schedules, attendance, and staffing levels.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
4. Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor inventory levels, order ingredients, and manage stock rotation to reduce waste.
