Head Guide

A luxurious Safari Camp is looking for a HEAD GUIDE to join their team

Set in Mpumalanga’s rugged terrain, this private game reserve offers a rare blend of biodiversity, geological wonder, and cultural heritage. It spans over 15,000 hectares of dramatic landscapes, rolling grasslands, towering mountains, and the winding Komati River.

Candidate Requirements:

• FGASA Level 2 or higher (or equivalent guiding qualification)


• ARH and valid PDP


• Valid First Aid certificate


• Minimum 5 years guiding experience, ideally in Big 5 territory


• Lead Trails Guide with all req. documentation advantageous


• Trackers and trailing skills highly valued (Trailing Level 2 or higher preferred)


• Strong hosting and guest engagement skills, especially with international clientele


• Experience in luxury lodge operations and guiding in high-end environments
