Head Lifeguard

Job Summary:




Responsibilities

We're seeking a Head Lifeguard to join our team. As our new Head Lifeguard you will:
+ Address patron concerns and provide frontline customer service
+ Coordinate emergency response efforts per YWCA’s Emergency Action Plan
+ Communicate schedule changes and updates to staff and patrons
+ Ensure lifeguard rotation and break schedules are followed
+ Adjust water features and programs to suit patron needs
+ Maintain cleanliness and safety of the Aquatics area
+ Track and replenish first aid and safety supplies
+ Assist with administrative and programming duties as assigned
+ Provide lifeguard or swim instruction coverage when needed
+ Other duties as assigned




The Ideal Candidate would have:
+ Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
+ Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification
+ Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons
