Head Mechanic

JOB SCOPE:

• Responsible for the maintenance, repair and overall performance of all golf course equipment and machinery including turf maintenance tools, utility vehicles, and small engines.
• Ensures the efficient functioning of the mechanical shop, oversees a team of mechanics or technicians and coordinates with the Golf Course Superintendent to support timely upkeep of the course.
• Ensure all workshop activities comply with company safety and environmental policies.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent is required; technical or vocational training in mechanics or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical repair; with at least 2 years in supervisor or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
