Job Description

The Head Mechanic is responsible for supervising mechanical maintenance and repair operations, ensuring all equipment and vehicles are safe, efficient, and in good working condition. This role oversees mechanics, schedules preventive maintenance, diagnoses complex mechanical issues, and ensures compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and maintenance procedures
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical problems
• Leadership and team supervision skills
• Basic record-keeping and maintenance planning skills
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training is an advantage
