Head of Avionics and Power Systems

ReOrbit is looking for a Head of Avionics and Power Systems. In this role, you will lead the electrical, avionics, and power engineering teams responsible for the design, development, integration, and testing of satellite subsystems throughout the full satellite lifecycle.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team of digital, electrical, and power specialists, ensuring that satellite avionics and power systems perform reliably in the most challenging space environments while meeting demanding optimization requirements.

As a key technical authority within the spacecraft engineering organization, you will drive the development of avionics and electrical power subsystems in close coordination with other spacecraft subsystems, balancing performance, mass, volume, margins, and reliability against aggressive program schedules.
