Head of Compliance

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead to drive and oversee compliance with BCBS 239 (Basel Committee on Banking Supervision – Principles for Effective Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting). This role is responsible for ensuring that data governance, risk data aggregation, reporting frameworks and controls meet regulatory expectations, while also aligning broader data risk management practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

BCBS 239 Compliance & Governance

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of frameworks aligning with BCBS 239 principles, including data governance, architecture, and risk reporting.

• Ensure adherence to all BCBS 239 principles such as accuracy, completeness, timeliness, adaptability, and integrity of risk data.

• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on BCBS 239, advising senior stakeholders and regulators as needed.
