• To lead the Economics Department in such a way as to provide support and complement the work of the Head of Faculty
• To ensure that teachers and students enjoy a stimulating, challenging and enjoyable learning experience both in and beyond the classroom
• To maintain the high profile of the Economics Department at SJI International and in the wider community.

• Identify and adopt the most effective active, creative teaching approaches for SJII students in line with current best practice
