Job Description

About the Role
As Head of Electrical Safety & Compliance (GVEFK), you are the senior authorizing authority for electrical safety across all Digital Realty sites in Germany. You define, validate, and enforce compliant execution of electrical works in close collaboration with local Responsible Electrical Engineers (VEFK) and the Design, Engineering & Construction teams. You hold full authority to approve, reject, or stop electrical works that do not meet legal or safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Take overall responsibility for electrical safety and compliance of all high- and low-voltage electrical installations in data center environments in accordance with DIN VDE.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards including VDE, DIN, DGUV, ArbSchG, BetrSichV, and TRBS.
Define electrical safety policies, frameworks, and authorization processes across all sites.
