Head of Legal

Responsibilities:

• Senior cross-functional leadership role overseeing Legal, Policy, and Stakeholder Engagement across a renewable energy / climate-focused development organization and its broader group structure, reporting to both country leadership and the executive office.

• Owns complex environmental, climate, and carbon market legal work, including carbon credits, Article 6 mechanisms, evolving environmental regulation, and interpretation of emerging climate-related policies.

• Leads high-level government, multilateral, and policy engagement, coordinating with national agencies, Indigenous Peoples commissions, local government units, and international institutions such as development banks and UN-linked bodies.

• Manages Indigenous Peoples, ancestral domain, and community land tenure legal frameworks
