Head of Marketing - Defence Exhibition

JOB PURPOSE: To oversee all aspects of marketing activity for the African Defence Exhibition at a product and corporate level, to collaborate on strategy, execute the defined marketing plan, manage the day-to-day delivery of the marketing team and establish best practice marketing.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Oversee the event corporate marketing activity including branding
• Plan and execute visitor, delegate and exhibitor marketing campaigns on time, to budget as agreed in consultation with the senior vice president and vice president
• Produce time and action plans for all campaigns, regularly review, forecast, monitor spend and report effectiveness of these plans
• Provide integrated marketing support for the exhibition /sponsorship/delegate sales teams when required
