Head of Operational Risk

About The Team
The Operational Risk Lead, as part of the second line of defense, shall provide an independent oversight to the operational risk management activities of the Bank. He/She shall assist the Senior Management in meeting its responsibility in ensuring that the operational risk-taking activities of the Bank are aligned with the operational risk appetite and strategies as approved by the Board of Directors.

Application of Technical Expertise
Mainly responsible (oversight function) for the operational risk management activity of the bank such as review and challenge, validation, monitoring and reporting of various operational risk policies (i.e. Outsourcing, Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Risk Incident Management)
Recommend appropriate operational risk appetite statements, indicators and thresholds to the Board of Directors (Board)
Provide sound advice to business units on operational risk management issues or topics
