Head of Procurement

The Head of Procurement will oversee all sourcing and supply activities for a multi-product trading and distribution business. The role requires strong market intelligence, vendor relationship management, international sourcing capabilities, and deep commercial acumen across petrochemicals, chemicals, polymers, and metals categories. This position ensures profitable buying, competitive pricing, and consistent availability of materials to meet customer and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

A) Strategic Sourcing and Category Management

• Develop sourcing strategies for multiple product categories (petrochemicals, bulk chemicals, specialty chemicals, polymers, metals).
• Identify and onboard reliable domestic and global suppliers, traders, and manufacturers.
• Track commodity trends, pricing cycles, and global market movements.
• Manage hedging strategies (where applicable) and evaluate market risks.
