Health and Safety Advisor

Overview

Keyera career opportunity in the Safety & Operational Excellence team. The Health & Safety Advisor will support the development and implementation of programs in the Keyera health and safety management system at the Empress Gas Plant Complex in Empress, Alberta. The role partners with Facility Operations teams using an advise, coach, mentor and assist approach in alignment with Keyera values and cultural behavior.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the knowledge of the Keyera Health and Safety Management System.
• Advise, mentor and assist with the implementation of programs for operations, terminals, and maintenance teams within the assigned areas.
• Engage with area leadership, site personnel and contractors in the field on a continuous basis.
• Lead by example through visible safety leadership.
• Provide area with ongoing Health & Safety performance metrics, trends, and focus areas for recognitions and improvements.
