Health and Safety Coordinator

The Health and Safety (H&S) Coordinator is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the company’s health and safety programs across all production sites.
Under the supervision of the H&S Manager and in collaboration with plant managers, the Coordinator ensures regulatory compliance, accident prevention, and the promotion of a strong safety culture within steel processing operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and update H&S policies, procedures, and programs adapted to steel manufacturing and material handling activities.
• Ensure compliance with CNESST requirements and internal industrial safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, production areas, and workstations to identify risks (machine safety, material handling, noise, ergonomics, etc.).
• Coordinate H&S audits and follow corrective measures with local teams.
