Regional Safety & Wellness Manager, Western Canada

is responsible for ensuring the effective application and maintenance of the wellness program across multiple plants and distribution centers in order to:

• Promote a culture of accident prevention and accountability through collaboration and participation by all associates
• Be an agent for the effective implementation of the ISO45001 safety standard (roadmap) and safety practices that minimize risk and reduce costs related to workplace injuries and/or non-compliance fines and penalties

Scope of the Regional Safety & Wellness Manager, Western Canada will be focused in three main areas:

• a) Financial – Make recommendations regarding necessary remedial steps that may involve significant financial expenditures and that will reduce the company’s financial liability; make recommendations for safety equipment purchases and/or training expenditures; contract the service...
