Job Description

Summary The incumbent serves as the Health Application Services Office (HASO) supervisory lead and reports directly to the IMS Chief. HASO is a national program affecting all IHSC staff. The primary function of the supervisory lead is to provide administrative and operational oversight of the IHSC electronic health record system portfolio. This position is only open to USPHS officers who are currently IHSC employees. USPHS Call to Active Duty (CAD) candidates are not eligible for this position. Responsibilities DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises and manages a multidisciplinary team responsible for implementing and leading initiatives associated with the IHSC EHR system portfolio. Exercises independent judgment and decision-making authority in managing HASO operations, including prioritizing projects, allocating resources, and resolving operational issues related to the EHR system portfolio.
