STARTING SALARY: $91,151 AND IS FUNDED BY ARTICLE 9 OF THE NYS/CSEA CONTRACT

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Deputy Director of CSEA Health Benefits Department for theState Division, the incumbent aids in the daily activities of the CSEA Joint Committee on HealthBenefits. Assists or represents the Deputy Director in performing a wide variety of tasks;assignments may be broad in scope. Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicatecomplex information clearly is essential.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Assists the Deputy Director in the evaluation, design, implementation/monitoring ofemployee benefit programs, projects and endeavors as required, pursuant to Article 9 ofthe NYS-CSEA Agreements.2. Educate and inform staff and CSEA state members about the employer-sponsored healthbenefits through the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP).3.
