Health Care Assistant 5 North

An opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to join our team on Ward 5 North, Wellington Regional Hospital

We are a 40-bed inpatient ward with close links to the Cancer Day ward, radiation oncology and the inpatient haemodialysis unit providing a range of specialist services including but not limited to chemotherapy delivery, apheresis and stem cell transplantation and renal transplant. 

We provide inpatient services for medical oncology, radiation oncology, haematology and renal specialities.

The position is in a friendly and supportive team. We are looking for people with the ability to communicate effectively and with good written skills. You’ll assist the nursing staff and patients with activities of daily living. You will be tasked with the restocking of clinical supplies and maintaining a clean environment.
