As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide clinical, technical and administrative support to nursing and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care. Working under the direction of Registered and Enrolled Nurses, you will assist with delegated patient care activities, supporting patient comfort, dignity and wellbeing. This includes assisting with personal care, maintaining a safe and clean clinical environment and supporting day‑to‑day ward operations. You will also contribute to administrative and clerical tasks such as managing documentation, preparing equipment and ensuring supplies are available. The role requires flexibility, strong teamwork and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high quality, patient‑centred care.
