Responsibilities As a Health Physicist at the GS-1306-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as the lead subject matter expert to develop, revise, and implement the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's Radiation Safety Program. Interprets Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Department of Transportation, and Department of Defense regulations to create tailored standards, champion concepts to keep exposure as low as reasonably achievable, and establish radiological contingency protocols.
