Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Lead

Overview

To plan, coordinate, and implement the Health and Safety activities for the Annacis Island HTL Demonstration Facility. This position is critical because the HTL process operates under extreme high-temperature (up to 350°C) and high-pressure (200 bar-g) conditions. The HSE Lead mitigates risks associated with Safe Operating Limits (SOL), handling of Biocrude Oil (a Class IIIA combustible liquid), hazardous waste byproducts, and exposure to hydrogen sulfide (H2S).

Responsibilities

• Phase 1: Pre-Operational Procedure & Manual Development : Draft and finalize foundational documents required to safely maintain the facility, including site-specific Lock-Out/Tag-Out/Try-Out procedures, EHS policy, and Emergency Response Plan.
