Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Health & Safety Coordinator

LOCATION: North Bay, Ontario

Salary: $60,431 to $67,146 annualy
Purpose of Role 

Working closely with managers, the coordinator assists with the development, implementation and promotion of strategies, procedures and systems across the company leading teams above and beyond compliance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate orientation and training activities

Create monthly Safety Talks and support supervisors by attending regularly

Prepare content monthly meetings with Supervisors (SafeSups)

Audit action plans by evaluating program elements (Emergency Response, Machine-guarding, WHMIS, First Aid etc.) through observation, interviews, surveys, and documentation review.

Ensure systems, processes and procedures are in place for early identification of hazards and appropriate communication of change...
