Health Safety Environment Intern

As an HSE Intern at Lysaght BlueScope, you will support the Health, Safety & Environment function in driving a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. You will gain hands‑on exposure to integrated HSE management systems within a manufacturing environment, contributing to BlueScope’s commitment to HSE Refocus and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in compliance with corporate standards and statutory requirements.
• Assist in workplace inspections, audits, risk assessments (HIRARC), and incident investigations, including root cause analysis (RCA) and timely reporting in internal systems such as MARS.
