Health Safety & Environmental Officer

Overview

Our client within the commercial agricultural space is seeking a detail-oriented HSE Officer. Candidates are required to have a completed matric certificate, and a SAMTRAC or equivalent health and safety qualification. One should also have proven experience in health and safety functions.

Responsibilities

• The HSE Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of the HSE Management System (HSEMS).
• Supporting HSE Management.
• Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions and follow-ups.
• Facilitate training activities.
• Manage hazard identification processes, forms, and registers.

Qualifications

Completed matric certificate, and a SAMTRAC or equivalent health and safety qualification. Proven experience in health and safety functions.
