Job Description

BA Blacktop is seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Manager to lead and advance the ongoing development and implementation of our Health & Safety Management System.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the corporate Safety Management Systems 
Ensure OSH Program complies with current OSH legislation, regulations and industry codes of practice
Interview, hire, and manage H&S department representatives
Review or develop site-specific safety plans, orientations, safe work practices, and procedures
Oversee the administration of the Injury Management Program for injured workers with medical restrictions
Review or conduct accident/incident investigations
Review or conduct site-specific inspections
Review or conduct site-specific audits
Oversee the distribution and/or development of the Weekly Safety Meeting Topics, Near Miss Reviews, S...
