Health & Safety Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Specialist to join our client's automotive manufacturing team near Kitchener, ON region .

Pay

Up to 90K

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with provincial/state health & safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and supervisors
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and compliance reports
• Support WSIB/WCB claims management and return-to-work programs
• Lead or participate in Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices on the production floor
