Health & Wellness Educator - Westport, NY

This position will serve as the Health and Wellness Educator for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Essex County under the leadership and oversight of the Executive Director. This position will build local food connections throughout Essex County, across all CCE Essex program areas. This position will create educational materials, provide educational programs, and work with all CCE Essex staff to incorporate local food into educational experiences. This position will represent CCE Essex as a partner of the Well Fed Collaborative and other food system partnerships, including senior wellness and healthy living programs, Essex County Public Health department, food pantries and schools. This position will also participate in program planning and evaluation and will assist in the development of grants and funding initiatives.
