Healthcare Virtual Assistant

The Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated Healthcare Virtual Assistant to manage insurance administration for this busy practice. You will be responsible for verifying patient benefits, submitting claims, and following up on denials to ensure smooth revenue cycle operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for new patients weekly)
• Process and submit insurance claims for approximately 200 sessions per week
• Work with major US insurance carriers including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Medicare, UHC/Optum, and Tricare
• Track and follow up on denied claims
• Prepare and submit appeals and corrected claims
• Maintain organised records in the practice management system
