Job Description

Operate ECH, & Forklifts to facilitate vessel side operations,

Yard operations and container deliveries, in accordance with safe operating procedures, performance targets and standards

Operate the machine until relieved end of the shift or as per the instructions

Follow instructions dispatched from time to time by dispatcher through VMT

Ensure that the priority is given to ITVs over external trucks, and within ITVs, priority is given to loading over discharging and yard shifting

Hand-over all necessary information regarding the status of the equipment, and unfinished workto the next shift operator

Conduct regular inspection before commencement of operations

Ensure that the equipment is always in good condition for operations and report any faults immediately to Yard Supervisor/ Yard Foreman

Undertake tasks (act as a multi operator) as directed during non-driving periods
