General Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance and Repair:

· Perform routine maintenance on heavy trucks and equipment such as oil changes, tire rotations, and engine tune-ups.

· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.

· Repair and replace malfunctioning or damaged parts like brakes, transmissions, engines, and suspension systems.

· Inspect equipment to detect wear, damage, or irregularities.

· Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.

2. Troubleshooting:

· Use diagnostic software and physical inspections to identify issues with equipment.

· Resolve problems related to engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and other systems.

3. Equipment Overhaul - Disassemble and reassemble engines and major mechanical systems for complete overhauls.
