Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Apprentice

Tomlinson is seeking to fill an immediate requirement for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic based out of our Heavy Equipment Division. This position is full-time permanent position. Location: 5151 Albion Road, Ottawa, ON
Vacancy Type: Replacement PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various types and brands of heavy equipment. 

Utilize computerized and other testing equipment to determine repairs and create detailed service reports. 

Contribute to the ongoing reliability of all heavy equipment and ensure compliance with preventitve maintenance requirements. 

Test repaired equipment to verify proper maintenance. 

Preparation of accurate written repair order sheets and reports

Interpretation of service manuals, schematics, lube charts, repair orders, etc.
