Heavy Equipment Operator

Responsibilities:

• Secure loads properly and direct crane or equipment operators during lifting operations.
• Coordinate with signalmen, operators, and site supervisors to ensure safe and efficient lifting procedures.
• Determine the weight and center of gravity of loads to select appropriate rigging gear.
• Inspect lifting gear regularly and report any defects or safety hazards.
• Follow all safety standards and company policies related to lifting and heavy equipment operation.
• Assist in moving, installing, or dismantling heavy machinery and structural components.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of rigging tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Rigger in a construction or heavy equipment environment.
• Knowledge of rigging principles, load calculations, and hand signals.
• TESDA or relevant Rigger certification preferred.
