Job Description

We are seeking Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technicians / Heavy Duty Mechanics with to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. Our Heavy Equipment Technicians provide on-site repairs and builds for construction-related equipment, operating from a service truck to support customers in the field. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, employing logic and deductive reasoning to troubleshoot effectively.

Base Wage: $47.41 per hour. Additional premiums apply.
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with overtime and travel


What You’ll Do

  • Performing assemblies, preventative maintenance, repairs and complete overhauls on heavy equipment.

  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized or other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.

  • Make recommendations regarding extent of repairs and suggest methods of improvement.
