Job Description

Are you an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician looking to take the next step in your career? SMS Equipment is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician, Apprentice 3rd Year working toward their Journeyperson certification. In this role you will find solutions, make safety a priority and work with the largest, most advanced earthmoving equipment. You will be at the forefront helping to keep those machines, and the industry they service, moving!

Base Wage: $52.70 per hour. Additional premiums apply.
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shift Rotation: 7x7


What You’ll Do

  • Performing assemblies, preventative maintenance, repairs and complete overhauls on heavy equipment.

  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized or other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
