Heavy Truck / Wrecker / Roadside Diesel Mechanic

Position Summary This is not a basic shop mechanic position. It is a hybrid role designed to keep an experienced technician fully utilized across three lanes of work: heavy truck and wrecker maintenance, motorcoach repair support, and roadside service response. The right candidate can diagnose problems independently in the field, make sound repair decisions in the shop, and bounce between scheduled work and unpredictable calls without losing momentum. Late-day shop coverage, weekend coverage, and emergency roadside response availability are core to the role. Key Responsibilities On the Road Respond to roadside service calls during scheduled hours and mandatory after-hours coverage. Operate heavy-duty and light-duty tow equipment safely and professionally. Diagnose and perform field repairs to return vehicles, trucks, or motorcoaches to service when possible.
