Job Description
Role Description:
A Help Desk Technician provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues. They serve as the first point of contact for IT-related problems, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding technical issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
- Install, configure, and update computer systems and applications
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams
- Document incidents, solutions, and user requests in ticketing systems
- Provide guidance and training to users on IT systems and best practices
- Assist with IT asset management and system maintenance
