Helper Mechanic

Job Description

• Performing oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and lubricating parts.
• Assisting senior technicians with removing and replacing engine components.
• Cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, and the workspace.
• Transporting parts, tools, and equipment to and from the repair area.
• Assisting in identifying mechanical issues and reporting findings.
• Ensuring a clean and safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, often with vocational training.
• Previous experience in a garage or automotive setting is often preferred, atleast 1-2 years experience as a helper mechanic or similar role
• Understanding of basic hand tools and automotive components.
• Ability to lift heavy parts and work on feet for long hours.
• A valid driver's license is often required, particularly if testing vehicles
