HFC Atlanta - Lead Canning Technician

The work schedule for this position is on first shift. Variable shifts will occasionally be required based on demand.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Serve as technical expert for high‑speed canning, filling, seaming, and related packaging systems.
+ Lead complex troubleshooting involving mechanical, electrical, controls, and product quality‑related failures within canning operations.
+ Apply advanced precision maintenance techniques to optimize seamer setup, filler performance, container handling, and overall equipment capability.
+ Plan, lead, and execute major equipment overhauls, rebuilds, and multi‑day maintenance activities using internal and external resources.
+ Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and defect elimination efforts related to can integrity, quality losses, downtime, and repeat equipment failures.
+ Partner closely with Operations, FSQ, Engineering, and OEM vendors to improve process stability, reliability, and equipment performance.
