HGV Instructor

HGV Instructor – £26,666 per annum + OTE

This full‑time position (40 hours per week) is based in Middleton, Greater Manchester, and requires national travel.

Responsibilities

• Instruct candidates to meet DVSA test standards on relevant vehicles (Cat C & Cat C+E).
• Carry out daily vehicle checks on training vehicles.
• Conduct driving assessments prior to learning.
• Develop and improve HGV training schemes of work.
• Deliver Accredited Driver CPC courses, including on‑ and off‑road lessons.
• Maintain high training and assessment quality in line with Mantra Learning Ltd standards and awarding bodies.
• Work closely with the HGV/Skills Manager to implement new skill‑based courses.
• Ensure safe working practices and maintain learner discipline.
