HGV Team Leader, Lichfield, Staffordshire

We have an exciting opportunity for a HGV Team Leader to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF.

This role will be responsible for on‑road HGV driver accountabilities, overseeing the day‑to‑day activities of HGV drivers to ensure a safe and compliant operation. Be accountable for assessing driver performance, developing driver skills, and enforcing adherence to legal and company transport standards.

Working hours: Night shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern, 3am/4am start. 12 hour shifts.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct practical and theoretical assessments of HGV drivers to evaluate competence and identify development needs. Implement targeted training and development strategies to enhance performance, safety and efficiency. Coach and mentor drivers, providing constructive feedback to maintain and raise high standards.
