High School English Teacher/Tutor

Oxford Learning Richmond Hill is seeking a part‑time teacher‑tutor to work during after‑school and evening hours (3:30 pm – 7:00 pm) and, as needed, on Saturdays (10:00 am – 3:00 pm). The role is in‑person; applicants must be able to commute to the Richmond Hill location.

Pay: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to three students at a time at different levels.
• Co‑teach in person; all lessons are pre‑planned.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Fill in post‑lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field; fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
• Teaching certification is an asset.
