Job Overview

Join Oxford Learning Centres Inc. as a part‑time High School Math/Science Tutor in our Ajax location. Work with students during after‑school, evenings, and occasional Saturdays while building your teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to three students at a time in‑person.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Fill in post‑lesson notes and maintain communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar in a relevant field; fourth‑year university students with tutoring experience are considered. Teaching certification is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Grades 9–12 math and science curricula, including Advanced Functions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, vectors, physics, chemistry, and biology, with the ability to support all courses up to Grade 12.
