As a Journeyperson at ENMAX Corporation, you will adhere to the Alberta Electrical Utility Code while troubleshooting and maintaining high-voltage transformers and circuit breakers. The role requires in-depth knowledge of safety regulations, such as Safe Work Practices, and hands-on experience in electrical systems. You will also be called upon to manage complex control systems and work effectively in various environmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commission and maintain high-voltage electrical equipment
• Operate SCADA systems and protection/control circuits
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and SOPs
• Train apprentices and communicate with stakeholders
• Assess and manage hazardous work situations
